Kuami Eugene's departure from Lynx Entertainment has been confirmed via his twitter handle. Kuami Eugene, an Afrobeat and Highlife musician, has announced his departure from Lynx Entertainment.
The previous several weeks have been filled with speculations about Kuami Eugene's desire to break his connection with Lynx Entertainment.
The musician sent cryptic messages on social media regarding his reported rift with the record label that discovered him, but everything was dismissed as gossip.
Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, refuted the accusations in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra Fm a few days ago, saying Kuami Eugene is on tour in Europe under the Lynx label.
Empire is established in San Francisco, but they have recently entered the African market by signing artists such as Black Sherif and Yaw Tog. Kuami Eugene is Empire's newest African musician.
