Fr. Benjamin Attobrah (Chaplain) and two OLAG Students (Sincere and Timothy) in the USA.

The team arrived at Minnesota on Friday 17th June, 2022 together with the parishioners from Our Lady of Grace (OLG) parish in Edina who visited Ghana.

During Mass at OLG on 19th June, the Ghanaians (Fr. Ben, Sincere, and Timothy) were introduced. The parishioners who returned from Ghana were also introduced and represented by Kirk Grandstand, they shared their experiences in Ghana with the Church. They were all excited to hear so much good things about Ghana.

After the Mass, we got the opportunity to meet Fr. Bob Schwartz who initiated the friendship between St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Mamponteng, Ghana, and Our Lady of Grace parish in Edina, Minnesota, USA.

On 20th June, 2022, at the house of Beryl and Steve, parishioners of OLG, we had dinner with some of the beginners of the partnership. During the interaction, Christine Eastburg and her husband Daryl shared their first experiences in Ghana. They shared how the people of Ghana welcomed them into their homes. Daryl said "we were staying in people's homes, and that was amazing, haha ...."

Fr. Bob narrated how he contributed to the building of OLAG. He said "I feel God used me to achieve something greater, haha... I didn't even know why I asked Fr. Sylvester to ask for something bigger from the Staleys..."

It was all fun and joy.

The Americans have so much love for Ghana, and the people of Ghana as we Ghanaians have for them.

May God bless this union.

Fr. Benjamin Attobrah
