Ghanaian bodybuilder and trainer, Mary Nyarko Omale, has become the first female bodybuilder from West Africa to win a “Figure Pro” title from the NPC Worldwide African Pro Qualifier.
Mary Nyarko Omale was adjudged Women’s Figure Overall Champion and New IFBB Professional League PRO at the 2022 NPC Worldwide African Pro Qualifier in Johannesburg, South Africa.
She has already paid a courtesy call to the Presidency and presented the award to President Akufo-Addo.
Mary hit the headlines somewhere last year after she disclosed that men are afraid to make advances toward her.
"Men are scared and hesitant to move toward me so I call the individuals who come to me as striking but however, but their explanations behind drawing nearer are needing to know me, needing to check me out (if you catch my drift) though others are timid to stroll with me. They keep coming yet I am right here watching them" she recounted partly in an interview.
