Ebenezer Kojo Kum, the Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, has resigned from his post.
He submitted his letter of resignation to the President on Friday, 3 February 2023.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has accepted Mr Kum's resignation as the Member of Parliament for Ahanta West, according to a statement issued by Mr Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Office of the President.
He has asked Dan Botwe, Minister of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, to serve as acting minister in the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
