In Sekondi – Takoradi, a heated presidential poll took centre stage on popular radio, Spice 91.9 FM’s drive-time program called Keteke.
The polls was between the charismatic and reform-driven, Dr Bawumia, Alan Kyeremanteng, the seasoned statesman, and Kennedy Agyapong, the bold outsider.
Radio listeners enthusiastically cast their votes, embracing diverse ideologies, ahead of the NPP Super Delegate Conference, scheduled on August 26th, 2023.
As the campaign unfolded, listeners split into passionate factions.
Debates raged on air, bringing both unity and division. With each candidate gaining ground, tensions mounted.
In the end, Bawumia scored 4 out of 15 votes, Alan had 5, and Kennedy scored the highest votes of 6.
Let’s see if this can be the outcome of the much anticipated New Patriotic Party Super Delegate conference to be held on August 26th.
