Tafiakwa! I Will Report Mahama To EOCO For Failing To Return Atta-Mills Presidential Library Funds. - Koku Anyidaho Anyidaho
Koku Anyidoho has pledged to report former President John Mahama to the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for misappropriating funds intended for the Atta-Mills Presidential Library.
On the Wontumi Morning Show, the proprietor of the Atta-Mills Institute and former deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) claimed that former President Mahama lied to him and diverted funds intended for the project.
When we would attend meetings, they would reassure us that we had sufficient funds for the undertaking. We even became adversaries because we inquired about the project's funds. But the 'don't worry responses' they gave us whenever we inquired where the funds were was a sinister plot on their part, Mr. Anyidoho lamented.
He praised President Akufo-Addo's administration for saving the situation and preventing the initiative from failing. According to him, the government of President Akufo-Addo has contracted a contractor through the Ghana Tourism Authority to work on the Atta-Mills Presidential Library out of empathy.
He held former President John Mahama responsible for the decay of the Atta-Mills Presidential Library prior to President Akufo-Addo's intervention.
"After seven years of decay, the government is rehabilitating it with additional taxpayer funds. So where did the first money my committee received come from? Where are the funds? He pledged, "I will go to EOCO; I will file a formal complaint with EOCO to investigate."
He warned members of the NDC against associating him with John Mahama animosity.
"They should inform me once more that I have taken this action because I despise Mahama. Did Mahama create the universe or baptise me when I was born? When my parents paided my school fees, did Mahama pay for them? So, because I joined a political party and its leader is named Mahama, I should sell my dignity and honour to him? Tofiakwa! he exclaimed
