This is the latest in a series of fatal accidents on the Accra-Tema Motorway. In recent months, there have been several accidents on the motorway, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries.
The Accra-Tema Motorway is one of the busiest roads in Ghana. It is a major route for commuters and freight traffic between the capital city of Accra and the port city of Tema.
The high volume of traffic on the motorway, coupled with poor road conditions, has made it a dangerous road to travel on. The government has been urged to take steps to improve the safety of the motorway, including fixing potholes and installing speed bumps.
The police have also been urged to crack down on reckless driving on the motorway.
The latest accident is a reminder of the need for motorists to be extra careful when driving on the Accra-Tema Motorway. Please obey the traffic rules and drive safely.
