Three people have died in a motorcycle accident in the Bosome Freho District of the Yaw Bronya Municipality in the Ashanti Region.

Two men, Kwame Reuben, an okada rider, and Augustine Annor, a lottery agent, are among the deceased. The identity of the second female victim, said to be in her late 60s, is unknown.
According to sources, Augustine Annor hired Kwame Reuben to drive him to Foase as part of his official duties.
After hitting a pothole in the road, the motorbike, which was travelling at high speed, lost its balance. As a result, it collided with a female pedestrian who was crossing the road.
All three victims died instantly.
The mortuary has since received the bodies of the deceased for autopsy and preservation.
Adomako Mensah, a Member of Parliament for the Tebeso constituency, claims that excessive speeding is to blame for a number of motorcycle accidents in the area.
He claims that many riders disregard road safety measures.
They are against wearing helmets. Wearing a helmet could have prevented most of these deaths, he claimed.
