Saturday, 4 February 2023: A third-year university student is said to have died after being stabbed by her boyfriend.
The suspect, Ngcebo Thusi, allegedly went to the hostel where his 20-year-old girlfriend, Ntokozo Mayenzi Xaba, lived armed with a knife.
After an argument, he killed her with the knife.
The woman who died last year had reportedly broken up with her boyfriend.
He didn't want to move on, so he decided to end her life.
A popular South African blogger wrote on Twitter that Mayenzi had died.
Netizens tried to comfort the woman's family and urged the police to catch her killer boyfriend.
Others told young men that if they are dumped, they should accept it and move on.
