Ghanaians react to reports of Nana Ama Mcbrown’s resignation from UTV

Fri, 3 Mar 2023 Source: iNews

Nana Ama McBrown has left UTV, according to a controversial Tiktok celebrity known as Gloria Enyonam on the social media platform.

In a video she posted on the video sharing app, Gloria made a suggestion about McBrown's resignation.

She said the multi-dimensional screen diva made the decision to step down from her hosting duties as a result of certain heinous acts committed against her while she was hosting the late night entertainment show.

In the video, the tiktoker pleaded with McBrown to focus on her commercials to protect her brand and dignity from further humiliation. McBrown has been inundated with endorsement deals.

Although the obnoxious Tiktok actress failed to clearly state what prompted McBrown to resign, she seemed to imply that McBrown may have taken her employers, Fada Dickson and the management of UTV to court over the matter.

She is heard complaining that lack of funds is making it difficult for McBrown's employers to settle the case peacefully.

Many in Ghana who have seen the news have applauded Nana Ama McBrown for reportedly retiring.

Some social media users claim that UTV has done more harm to McBrown than God, as she has been in the news for unfavourable reasons since she started working for the station.

Below are some of the most popular responses to the news of McBrown's resignation from UTV.

You may have noticed that McBrown has been absent from her popular United Showbiz Show for some time now, but the actress hasn't said whether she's quitting or not.

The show has been hosted by a variety of personalities in recent weeks, with media personalities Abeiku Santana and MzGee hosting recent episodes.

Rumours had previously circulated that McBrown had taken a break from television because she had visited her doctors again for a check-up and follow-up on her injured right arm.

Below are some reactions from Ghanaians:
