Nigel Gaisie, the founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, claims he was minutes away from committing suicide when a call from Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams saved him.
The man of God claimed that Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, sent him to the lowest point of his life during an appearance on Adom FM's weekend programme, Entertainment Hall.
"I received a call from Archbishop Duncan-Williams. I already knew when I was going to commit suicide and leave this planet. Ken's actions were wrong. I was inspired when Duncan Williams reminded me that although I had reached my lowest point, I had only just begun.”
The prophet refused to be prejudiced when host Mike 2 asked him if he would support Mr Agyapong, a flagbearer candidate of the New Patriotic Party, to win the New Patriotic Party primaries.
“He is the one who has hurt me the most in my life. My mother was about to have a stroke. We may have resolved our differences, but that doesn't mean I have forgotten.”
"Because I study history, I have absorbed the teachings of the past and I have nothing against him. He had the ability to say things that caused many in my congregation to flee. Membership has dropped by nearly 2,000 as a result of your slanderous accusations against me.”
The Prophetic Hill Ministry leader insisted he saw the death of Ebony Reigns and also blame her manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang, also known as Bullet.
Kennedy Agyapong alleged on his Net2 TV station that Ebony Reigns had vowed to publicly humiliate Prophet Nigel Gaisie for raping her, but that Nigel instead arranged her death because he wanted the incident to remain private.
Nigel Gaisie responded by saying: "He didn't even know me personally. Although I have forgiven him, I will be biased in his favour.”
