Ghanaian actress Priscila Opoku Agyeman, better known by her stage name Ahuofe Patri, and her family have finally laid her mother to rest.
The funeral service for Ahuofe Patri's mother, Madam Babara Opoku-Addo, was held at the ICGC Eagle Temple in Gbawe.
On Saturday, 4 March 2023, she lay in state at the ICGC Eagle Temple at Gbawe Zero in Accra for mourners to walk past her body and pay their last respects.
The 48-year-old woman was then taken to the cemetery for burial.
Ahoufe Patri and other family members can be seen sobbing profusely as the late Madam Barbara's body is taken to the cemetery in some funeral videos that have surfaced online.
After a brief illness, Madam Barbara Opoku-Addo passed away in the early hours of 30 January 2023. She was 48 years old.
The actress, who was a contestant in the 2011 Miss Malaika beauty pageant, revealed in several interviews that she was particularly close to her mother because her father abandoned her when she was a young child.
