In the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti Region, a Jita school bus with registration number GN 6920-13 crashed into the Kwabenakwa Police Barrier, seriously injuring three policemen.
The school bus, which was dropping off pupils from other areas, reportedly lost control and crashed into the Kwabenakwa police barrier, crushing the policemen.
Its brakes reportedly failed.
According to the complaint, the police on duty were inspecting a long vehicle fully loaded with canoes.
Three policemen suffered serious injuries, including two paralysed and one with a broken jaw. On the other side, the bus driver was also injured.
The victims were taken to the SDA Hospital in Obuasi for intensive care.
