Osei Kwame Despite, a businessman and CEO of the Despite Group of Companies, turns 61 today.
The celebrations kicked off with a car parade and happy songs for the business tycoon.
During his celebration, he went to see former President Kufuor, who was seen kneeling and blessing him.

Despite being one of Ghana's richest and most successful people, his fame goes beyond his wealth. He celebrated his birthday with charitable and philanthropic efforts as well as an exhibition of vehicles and other possessions.
He has developed a reputation for being humble, down-to-earth and always willing to help those in need. He visited former President John Agyekum Kufuor as part of his birthday celebrations and knelt down to express his respect and gratitude.
Many people saw Despite's act of humility as a reflection of his character and it attracted a lot of positive attention and admiration from the general public.
