The Obuasi police have effectively apprehended three armed robbery suspects in the Amansie Central district of the Ashanti Region's Kankanfranse town.
The perpetrators have been identified as 33-year-old Akwasi Owusu Ansah from Bogobiri Sob in Obuasi, 22-year-old Richard Boafo from Bogobiri, and 30-year-old Ishmael Baah from Boetey in the Obuasi East district.
The circumstances surrounding their detention have not yet been made public, as the police are currently conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
The suspects are currently in police custody, where they will be subjected to additional scrutiny to determine whether they have any ties to previous illicit activities or associates.
As the investigation continues, the police are requesting that anyone with pertinent information or prospective leads regarding criminal activity in the area come forward and assist with the investigation.
