Information Minister Critizes Ohene Ntow

Honourable Fati Abubakar

Fatimatu Abubakar, the deputy minister of information, has criticised Nana Ohene Ntow for acting like a one-trick pony whose sole purpose is to ridicule every positive action taken by the Akufo-Addo administration.

"You go into hiding and only recall to emerge during internal elections. "When he shows up, it's only to belittle the government's accomplishments," she said.

Fatimatu Abubakar acknowledged the reverence she has for Nana Ohene Ntow and stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) views Ohene Ntow as a heavyweight and expects him to be objective in his comments about his own government.

"Ohene Ntow is the former General Secretary of the party and is regarded as a major player in NPP affairs. His support for Alan is unquestioned, and he even serves as Alan's campaign spokesperson, she stated on Movement TV, which was monitored by Info News Ghana.

The deputy minister of information stated, "Honourable Alan has served as minister of trade for nearly seven years." The 126 factories constructed under the 1d1f initiative were overseen by his ministry, and his accomplishments are also those of President Akufo-Addo.

His actions are recorded in writing and added to the statements the President reads. You (Ohene Ntow) serve as his spokesperson, but you have never said anything positive about this administration. Can't you choose your candidate's industry and discuss it?"

She continued, "Tell us what the honourable Alan has accomplished for us to consider him and vote for him." Even if this government has failed in the area of Trade, please inform us. We have achieved success, whereas you have never done so before. You go into hiding and only remember to emerge during internal elections. When he appears, it is only to scoff and declare that the government has accomplished nothing.
