The National Democratic Congress's Tema East constituency chairman, Kempes Ofosuware, announced that the party will operate on a 60% vote threshold in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
He claims that the party is putting tactics in place to make sure that Isaac Ashai Odamten, the local member of parliament, and John Dramami Mahama, the NDC's flagbearer, both receive at least 60% of the vote.
Former Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive Kempes Ofosuware claimed in an interview with this newspaper that when the NDC won the seat in 2020, former President John Mahama received 52% of the votes.
We will make every effort to secure the triumph from 2020 in 2024.
