To minimise any sense of unease, Rev Dr Samuel Worlanyo Mensah, Economist, has requested Parliament to hear the ongoing investigation into the leaked recording addressing the ouster of the IGP behind closed doors.
He said that the televised investigation by the Ad-hoc Committee of Parliament exposed critical national security information and undermined the Ghana Police Service's unity and cohesiveness.
"Mercenaries are all around us, and issues bordering on security must be handled at the security level rather than in front of everyone's ears, because any group could exploit the situation and infiltrate our system," Dr Worlanyo Mensah remarked.
