A 27-year-old male was found guilty of stealing property worth over $10,000 from the Association International School, including laptop computers, by the Accra Circuit Court One and was given a four-year term with hard labour.
Unemployed Michael Awitor, who admitted breaking into the school principal's office illegally to steal the items, received the appropriate punishment.
Godstime Joseph Edoho, 28, and Abdul Wahab Issahaku, 50, have both denied helping Awitor, the convicted thief, steal the various things.
They were allowed to leave on bail for GHC 120,000 apiece with three sureties.
The Court, presided over by Mrs. Afia Owusua Appiah, ruled that each of their sureties must be justified.
On September 11, 2023, Issahaku and Edoho will return to the Court.
