A five-day programme on building capacity was attended by the board members of Maltaaba Peasant Women Farmers' Cooperative (MAPEWFAC), an NGO that strives to improve the lives of women and children in the Upper East Region.
The NGO works with sixteen women's groups in the Talensi and Nabdam District in the Upper East Region on issues such as sustainable agriculture and climate change, commodity value chains, entrepreneurship education and training, women's rights, streetism, and reintegration and advocacy.
The Board Members and volunteer staff of the NGO attended the event, which was held in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region on Tuesday. They were educated on issues like monitoring and evaluation, safeguarding and code of conduct, and financial management.
