Conquer North For Alan, an NPP youth group affiliated to former Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten has welcomed the decision of the NPP Presidential Aspirant to resign as a minister, saying that they expected the resignation much earlier than it came.
The group said it expected Mr Kyeremanten to resign to allow him focus on the greater goal of breaking the eight.
“We in this fraternity envisioned an early resignation to allow for an absolute focus and commitment towards the greater goal of breaking the eight for our beloved party; nonetheless, we are not whining nor winging, we are here now, Sir.” Conquer North for Alan said in a statement.
Mr Kyeremanten who is eying to lead the NPP in the 2024 Presidential Election last week resigned his position as Trade and Industry Minister.
Even though he did not state why he had resigned, many political analysts attributed his resignation to his presidential ambition, Mr Kyeremanten himself in a Facebook post said he would address Ghanaians in due course.
Conquer North for Alan in a statement signed by its Convener, Prince Alhassan Tipariga said the resignation will position Mr Kyeremanten towards the dream of the group to see him lead the NPP into the 2024 Elections.
“This step will surely jettison you and our party to the promise land. Now that your persona is miles away from the office you hitherto held, we wish to see a swift, responsive and timely moves towards our grander goal of seeing you lead our party into election 2024 and beyond.” The group said.
Conquer North for Alan noted that “We have a battle to fight here in the North, but our valiance is never in doubt —our sweat and toils will tell you all the tales”.
