A member of the National Democratic Congress at Kumawu named Madam Akua Afriyie has been expelled from the party as a consequence of her announcement of support for a candidate for the NPP flagbearer aspirant.

Despite the fact that she is a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress, she expressed her appreciation for the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

She claims that she was fired shortly after a video of her declaring her support for Alan during the Kumawu by-election became viral, and that this led to her termination from her position.

She had announced to the entire world that despite the fact that she was a member of the NDC, if the NPP presented Alan as their candidate for president in the 2024 elections, she would gladly vote for him. During that time, she remarked that Alan possessed a vision that had the potential to save our country and give hope to the growing number of young people.

Since then, her remark has caused quite a commotion in political circles, and the NDC has not taken kindly to the attention it has brought her.

Akua Afriyie claims that she has been demoted to the status of a floating voter after receiving a letter of dismissal.

Although I do not belong to either the NDC or the NPP at this time, I am a fervent admirer of Mr. Kyerematen.

She has warned that if the NPP does not give Mr. Kyerematen the chance to lead the party, then she, Akua, will simply abstain from voting in the 2024 elections.

Meanwhile, the constituency delegates Durbar for the Kumawu, Afram Plains, and Effiduase Asokore constituencies was attended by a large number of people, and delegates vowed that Alan will not win the election this time around.

The delegates guaranteed in unison that Ghanaians of discernment have sprung from their slumber and are now fully awake, and that they will not allow themselves to be surprised by anything.

They argued that Alan should take charge of the party because it is his turn, and that nothing should go in his way this time around.
