Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security Palgrave Frimpong Boakye-Danquah has showered praises on the Akufo-Addo-led administration for the strides made in recent times.
Citing the rail sector in his assertion, Dr Boakye-Danquah said it is now clear that the government has “turned the corner”, repeating the phrase of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, when he appeared before Parliament for the mid-year budget review presentation.
“Our government and that of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has invested heavily in the rail sector than any other government in this 4th Republic,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday, August 4.
“We have turned the corner of this democratic government and country.”
This was earlier reiterated by President Akufo-Addo on Friday when he met senior citizens at the Jubilee House to mark Founders’ Day.
“We have constructed more railways than any other government in the Fourth Republic.”
