The children of the late David Lamptey, a prominent businessman National Democratic Congress are set to contest the NDC parliamentary primaries.
Meredith Naakai Lamptey-Addy who is eyeing the Klottey Korle constituency seat is the step-sister of popular Ghanaian businessman cum socialite Kojo Jones Mensah.
Kojo Jones Mensah is contesting to become a legislative representative for the Keta Constituency.
Meredith Naakai Lamptey-Addy holds a degree from the University of Ghana and a certificate from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Kojo Jones Mensah is the CEO and Founder of the Empire Conglomerate, which comprises various businesses in various sectors: Empire Concrete Ltd, Empire Domus Ltd, Dominion International Petroleum Ltd, KJM Trading Ltd and Kingscrown Media.
After successfully acquiring a Bachelor of Laws in Business Law in 2011, he further pursued a Master of Business Administration in 2012 at Coventry University in the UK where he specialized in Oil and Gas Management.
Meanwhile, the election of the parliamentary candidate is scheduled for May 13.
