Regina Daniels, Mercy Johnson: Meet the two top Nigerian actors whose husbands have won the Nigeria elections

The husband of Nigerian top actress Regina Daniels has won the Senatorial race under the ticket of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Delta North District.

Ned Nwoko is not just known as a businessman victory was announced by the actress on her Instagram page as she shared congratulatory messages and a live video from their family house.

Aside from Regina Daniels, another A-list actress, Mercy Johnson also took to Instagram to share her joy after her husband won the APC candidate house of a representative for Essan North-east/Esan South-East federal constituency.

Prince Odi Okojie was captured in a video celebrating his victory with his wife.

However, even though singer Bankole Wellington, aka Banky W contested the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat under the ticket of PDP, he lost Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP).
