Celebrated gospel songstress Joyce Unbreakable Blessing has responded to critiques who claim her style of dressing is unlike a gospel artiste.
A section of Ghanaians have recently showed concern on the fashion style of the songstress claiming the style of dressing where Blessing wears tight trousers with similar tight tops to fit and dyeing her hair sometimes is undeserving of a Christian who doubles as a gospel musician.
But responding to the claims on Ultimate 106.9fm on the station’s flagship program; Ultimate Entertainment Records, hosted by Emcee Bebe Blessing argued that the fact that she’s a gospel musician doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be herself. She noted she wants to be herself.
“I do my songs for Ghanaians, especially, the youth so I’ve to do what the youth want by being myself “ she said.
Blessing who is currently promoting her new single; victory, also said the song was inspired by her life story.
“I’m sure everyone knows what I went through but came out victorious. So I recorded the song to encourage people that God will take them out of any difficulty they are going through “
On the same interview, Blessing hinted on an imminent album.
