Ayew brothers, Wakaso visit Dr Bryan Acheampong
Dr Bryan Acheampong has shared details of a meeting with former Black Stars captain André Ayew, his brother Jordan Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso, and their team during their visit to Abetifi in Kwahu.
In a Facebook post, the former NPP presidential aspirant said he was honoured to welcome the football stars to Abetifi after they paid homage at the palace.
Acheampong said the visit also provided him with an opportunity to share his vision for establishing a 100-Community League, which he described as an investment in the future of Kwahu.
The meeting comes as the Ayew brothers and Wakaso continue to maintain close ties with Ghanaian communities through football-related activities.

André Ayew, who captained the Black Stars for several years, was recently seen interacting with young fans during his visit to Kwahu for a community game.
The former Marseille and Swansea City forward has remained one of Ghana’s most recognisable football figures, while his younger brother Jordan continues to represent the Black Stars.
Wakaso, meanwhile, enjoyed a distinguished international career with Ghana and was part of several major tournaments with the national team.
Acheampong’s proposed 100-Community League would seek to use football as a platform for grassroots development and youth engagement across Kwahu.
