Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has condemned an adult woman seen in a viral video allowing 12-year-old content creator Adobea to openly consume alcohol in her presence.
In a post shared on her X page on September 1, 2026, Nana Aba Anamoah criticised the woman seen sitting with the 12-year-old in the video, as well as the person behind the camera who recorded the incident and shared it on social media.
The media personality questioned why the adult sitting beside the child did not think to take the alcoholic drink, Smirnoff Ice, away from the child, while another person chose to record the incident and share online instead of intervening.
Nana Aba Anamoah described their decision to allow 12-year-old girl to drink alcohol as “spectacular adult stupidity” and questioned their judgment around the child.

“Some people have really lost the plot. A grown woman (clearly without a functioning brain) is sitting right beside a child drinking Smirnoff Ice, while another fool is busy filming the whole thing instead of stopping it. Not only did nobody have the sense to take the drink away, someone actually thought, ‘Let me record this.’ What kind of spectacular adult stupidity is this? Imagine being old enough to know better and still being this useless around a child,” she wrote.
Nana Aba Anamoah's comments were directed at what she described as a failure by the adults present to exercise proper judgment around a child.
The comments come after a widely circulated video showed 12-year-old Adobea seated at what appears to be a local pub, eating meat and consuming a bottle of Smirnoff Ice.
In the video, Adobea is seen in the company of an adult woman who is also eating meat and drinking soda, while music plays in the background. The two appear to be enjoying themselves as the child drinks the alcoholic beverage.
The video has attracted criticism on social media because of Adobea's age and the fact that she was seemingly allowed to consume alcohol while in the company of adults.
The person who recorded the video also came under scrutiny after choosing to capture and share the moment on social media instead of intervening.
