Dr Zanetor meets Armah-Buah ahead of assumption of office
The Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, as part of the transition process following her swearing-in.
Dr Agyeman-Rawlings, in a Facebook post shared on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, said the meeting formed part of preparations to formally assume office at the Ministry.
She said Armah-Kofi Buah, who had been acting as Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, welcomed her for a warm exchange as the transition process progresses.
“The meeting provided an opportunity for a warm exchange as I prepare to formally assume office at the Ministry,” she said.

The courtesy call is part of the transition arrangements ahead of Dr Agyeman-Rawlings’ formal assumption of duties.
Dr Agyeman-Rawlings was vetted by Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Thursday, August 27, 2026, and subsequently approved by Parliament.
She was sworn into office by President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Jubilee House, taking the Oath of Allegiance, Oath of Office and Oath of Secrecy.
