NPP Treasurer aspirant involved in accident
Collins Nuntwiri Nuamah, a National Treasurer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reportedly been involved in a road accident on the Kwahu Ridge on Saturday night, September 5, 2026.
According to a report by adomonline.com on September 6, 2026, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. while Nuamah and his campaign team were returning from activities in the Afram Plains North and South constituencies.
The vehicle was headed towards Anyinam, where he was scheduled to continue his campaign the following day with visits to Atiwa East and West, before moving to the Kwahu Bloc.

Nuamah sustained injuries in the crash and is receiving medical attention.
As a result, his campaign has been temporarily suspended, with his team indicating that updates on his condition and the resumption of campaign activities will be communicated in due course.
Nuamah is among the aspirants cleared to contest the NPP’s 2026 National Treasurer position.
