‘God will punish anyone linking Salinko’s wealth to father’s death’ - Kwaku Manu fumes
Ghanaian actor and comedian Kwaku Manu has fiercely defended his colleague Abraham Kofi Davis, popularly known as Salinko, stating that “God will punish” anyone who associates the actor’s wealth with the death of his father.
Speaking during an interview with Dave Hammer, Kwaku Manu 'exploded' after a man seated beside him questioned the source of Salinko’s wealth and suggested the public had every right to know how the actor made his money.
“As long as Salinko is not here and this topic is up, I will defend him. God will punish anyone who associates Salinko’s wealth with his father’s death. Let’s be happy about good and beautiful things,” he said
The stranger insisted that people only wanted to know the source of Salinko’s wealth “for future reasons.”
But Kwaku Manu rejected the argument, asking why anyone should be concerned about how the actor made his money.
“Why do you want to know the source of his wealth? For what? If there’s any issue in the future, will you take the blame for him? It is none of your business,” he fired back.
Drawing a comparison, Kwaku Manu referenced the arrest and extradition of businessman Abu Trica, arguing that the public did not follow up on his situation after the incident.
The stranger further argued that some celebrities later end up in hospitals seeking government support, suggesting that questioning their wealth was justified.
However, Kwaku Manu strongly disagreed, saying such reasoning was immature.
“If you bring that up, I will fight you. It means you’re not mature enough in life. Life is in stages; we move forward. But there are also unforeseen circumstances and tragedies in life,” he said.
The heated exchange has since sparked conversations on social media, with many weighing in on whether public figures owe the public an explanation for their wealth.
