Ghanaian musician KiDi has revealed that his colleague Fameye played a role in the songwriting process for his new album.
Speaking in an interview on Pluzz FM on September 8, 2026, KiDi disclosed that Fameye co-wrote some of the songs on the project after he shared his vision for the album with him.
According to the singer, he approached Fameye and explained the kind of message and direction he wanted for the project, asking him to write a song for him.
However, Fameye reportedly went beyond his expectations and wrote four songs.
“Shoutout to Fameye for co-writing the songs as well. I spoke to Fameye about the vision of the album I was creating. I told him I needed him to write me a song, and he wrote me four songs,” KiDi said.

KiDi explained that after listening to the songs, one of them immediately stood out to him as the perfect track to open the album.
According to him, the song captured exactly what he wanted to communicate and expressed his thoughts in the way he envisioned.
“After I saw the songs, I was like, this is the one. It’s such a perfect opener to the album, and it’s saying exactly the things I want to say and how I want to say them,” he stated.
The musician further described the project as the beginning of a new chapter in his life and career, expressing hope for divine guidance as he embarks on the journey.
“May the Lord direct me on this new journey that I’m about to embark on,” he added.
