‘The next game is our only game of survival’ – Charles Sampson
Black Princesses head coach Charles Sampson says Ghana must beat South Korea in their second group game at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to keep their hopes of progressing to the next stage alive.
The Black Princesses suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat in their opening game, leaving them with little room for error in their remaining group matches.
Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Sampson admitted that the opening defeat was difficult to take but said his players had quickly shifted their focus to securing victory against South Korea.
“We have to take the next game to be the only game of survival,” he stated.
