A video of Bishop Kingsley Kofi Ofori has gone viral on social media after controversial remarks he made about the Twi Bible.
In a viral video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on September 9, 2026, the Ghanaian pastor said he does not believe in the Twi Bible.
Sharing his reasons, Bishop Ofori said the Twi Bible was wrongly translated.
He explained that there are a lot of translations that could lead Christians to hell.

“I don’t believe in the Twi Bible because it is wrongly written, and there are also some scriptures that have been poorly translated, which can lead Christians to hell," he said.
Referencing a scripture in the Bible, Bishop Kofi Ofori said, "1 Corinthians 7:1-5 states that ‘do not defraud one another,’ but in the Twi Bible, it says otherwise, and due to that, there is a lot of fornication in the church."
Bishop Ofori further claimed that marriage is not an institution approved by Jesus Christ, insisting that it was introduced into the church through external influences.

“There’s nothing like marriage. Jesus Christ didn’t approve of marriage. Even the Romans have agreed not to marry. I blame the Protestants, which I am part of, because we brought marriage into the church.
“There are three types of people who aren’t supposed to marry, and they are the ones Heaven has said shouldn’t. The other type is the ones some individuals have said can’t, and the other ones are those naturally born not to marry. So why would you worry if the Romans speak against marriage? Some people will say the Bible is self-contradictory,” he added.
