'Stop fooling; research before you question Salinko’s wealth' - Quappiah slams DBlex
Ghanaian actor Quappiah has slammed media personality DBlex for questioning the source of Kumawood actor Salinko’s wealth, urging him to conduct proper research before making claims on a public platform.
In a video shared on TikTok, Quappiah criticised DBlex for failing to investigate Salinko’s background and businesses before discussing his financial status on national radio.
According to the actor, platforms with large audiences should be used to educate and inspire the youth rather than make statements he described as baseless.

“Stop fooling, stop the loose talk. If you have gotten a big platform, talk sense on it, educate the youth on it. Salinko should come and explain how he got his money; is your money lost, or has your dad employed him? You have such a big platform, and instead of educating the youth and telling them not to wait until they are about 50 or 60 years before they start making money, you are here talking nonsense,” he added.
Quappiah further urged the media personality to carry out background checks before discussing people’s lives and achievements publicly.
“Did you research on him before sitting on such a platform to speak? Do a little research and get to know what the person does as a job. When you research, you’ll know,” he stated.
The actor also advised DBlex to be mindful of his comments about successful individuals, stressing that attacking people’s achievements without evidence could have negative consequences.
The reaction follows comments by DBlex questioning Salinko’s source of wealth, which sparked discussions about how public figures acquire their fortunes.
