Don't marry a woman who won't submit to you – Pastor Femi Lazarus
Nigerian preacher Pastor Femi Lazarus has sent a stern warning and offered advice to men who are yet to tie the knot.
In a video making waves on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on September 11, 2026, Pastor Lazarus noted that men should not settle down with women who are unwilling to submit to them.
According to the preacher, any man who settles for a woman who refuses to submit is a weakling and “has no balls.”

He explained that any man who agrees to let a woman control him was not taught how to be a man, adding that any home where the wife controls the husband is a cursed one.
“Any home where the woman is controlling the husband is cursed. If you are not going to submit, don’t marry. And if you are a man, your definition of being a woke man is that the lady is staring into your face, saying, ‘I don’t submit to no one,’ and you say, ‘Let’s go.’
“You are a weakling and have no balls. You were not taught how to be a man. We need more men teaching boys how to be men, not some sisters walking about. But some boys need high heels for us to know that they are girls,” he said.
Pastor Lazarus additionally noted that the scripture which says women should submit to their husbands should not be changed based on modernisation.

According to him, if the scripture is twisted the other way around, it brings a curse upon the home, and children born into such homes end up being what he described as “dysfunctional.”
“We don’t twist what the Bible instituted. The word is the word. Love your wife; wife, submit to your husband.
“That’s the culture. If you twist it, the curse is on the land. But when the land is cursed, the offspring come out cursed. So children come out dysfunctional,” he added.
