Shatta Wale has waded into the latest tension between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, urging the latter to apologise to the rapper and insisting that a social media post at the centre of the disagreement was not directed at him.
The dancehall musician made his position known during a TikTok Live session on September 11, 2026, where he appeared dressed as a lawyer as he addressed the growing public exchanges between the two artistes.
Taking on a somewhat theatrical role, Shatta Wale presented what appeared to be his own verdict on the matter, arguing that Stonebwoy had no reason to take offence at Sarkodie’s post.
He also questioned Stonebwoy’s approach to his exchanges with Sarkodie, particularly the manner in which their disagreement had played out publicly.

“You want to talk to Sarkodie anyhow on the internet? You think you can win this case? Something dey do you erh? People give you chance so you feel say right you have the mouth to speak. Haven’t you seen your picture with Sarkodie where you have your hands at your back? What happened to your humility? Are you okay?” he questioned.
Shatta Wale further suggested that Stonebwoy’s reaction may have been influenced by his own relationship with Sarkodie, particularly the long-standing bond between Shatta Wale and the rapper.
He maintained that his friendship with Sarkodie should not become a reason for Stonebwoy to disrespect the rapper, stressing that disagreements between him and Sarkodie have not erased their relationship.
“Is it by force for me to be your friend? I don’t like friends that have bitterness in them. Stonebwoy I put it you you that you should come and apologise to Sarkodie. Because what Sarkodie wrote on the internet, he didn’t talk about you.
“You’re pained about the Shatta-Sark brotherhood. Sarkodie is my person. Irrespective of whatever beef I have had with him, we have a special bond. Brothers fight and still continue being related. Sarkodie’s energy gels with mine. It’s why you’re jealous. Don’t let your enmity with me cause you to disrespect Sarkodie,” he said.
