Hearts of Oak appoints interim management committee after MD's resignation

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has constituted an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee the affairs of the club following the resignation of its Managing Director. According to a statement issued by the club’s Board of Directors on Friday, September 11, 2026, the IMC will manage the club’s operations pending the appointment of a new management team. The five-member committee is chaired by Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe and includes Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom as the Finance representative, Akwasi Agyemang in charge of Operations, Vincent Sowah Odotei responsible for Administration, and Alhaji Yusuf Abdullai, Chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC), in charge of Mobilisation. Black Princesses ready for Ecuador test as Charles Sampson targets winning start The Board said the decision was part of efforts to ensure that the club’s affairs continue to run smoothly during the transition. “The Board of Directors wishes to assure all stakeholders that it is taking all steps necessary to ensure that the Club continues its pursuit of pre-eminence not just in the country but continentally,” the statement said.
