Sharon Adeleke-Ademefun, the sister of Nigerian Afrobeats musician Davido, has explained how she often advises her brother on his spending habits.
In a video shared on X on September 23, 2026, Sharon noted that as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Davido’s record label, she ensures that she briefs the musician on how his money is being spent.
According to Sharon, she holds a meeting with Davido every week to discuss his spending habits, where she also advises the musician to reduce the frequency with which he purchases cars and jewellery, considering his love for luxurious vehicles.

“We have a finance meeting every week because I think it’s important for him to know how his money is being spent,” she said.
She added, “One of the major things that I’m always getting on my brother about is jewellery and cars.”
