Introducing Xaida Xaida is more than a brand icon or a digital character. She has been developed as a representation of Octaplus Health’s technology-driven approach and its vision of making health insurance simpler, more accessible and more people-centred. As a brand icon, Xaida will feature prominently in the company’s communication and digital content, helping Octaplus Health tell its story in a way that is relatable, engaging and relevant to a digitally connected audience. The development of Xaida reflects a growing interest in the use of artificial intelligence and digital technology to improve the way businesses communicate, deliver services and interact with their customers. Octaplus believes that technology should not make healthcare and health insurance feel more complicated. Instead, it should help make the experience more convenient, transparent and accessible. Technology with a Human Touch While artificial intelligence was at the centre of the event, Octaplus Health emphasised that its adoption of technology is ultimately about people. The company’s approach is anchored in the belief that healthcare goes beyond treatment and that health insurance should provide people with support throughout their healthcare journey. Xaida therefore represents both sides of this vision; the technology that enables smarter ways of working and the human-centred approach that remains at the heart of healthcare. Through its digital platforms and technology-enabled processes, Octaplus Health continues to explore ways of improving the experience of its members, corporate clients and healthcare service providers. The company also sees the introduction of Xaida as an opportunity to make conversations around healthcare and technology more engaging, particularly among younger, digitally connected audiences. Looking Ahead The unveiling of Xaida signals another chapter in Octaplus Health’s development as the company continues to establish itself within Ghana’s private health insurance landscape. With Xaida now officially unveiled, Octaplus Health is looking ahead to a new phase of its journey- one where innovation is not only discussed but brought to life and experienced by all its members.
