Semenyo nominated for Premier League award
Ghanaian footballer Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award, as announced on September 24, 2026.
The player has been influential for Manchester City in the Premier League during September 2026, delivering impressive performances in several matches.
The winger provided the cross for Erling Haaland to score in Manchester City's victory over Coventry City, helping his side secure a crucial win.

He also delivered a solid performance in his side's controversial 2-1 win over Manchester United, where his relentless effort earned him a commendable match rating.
His most outstanding moment came in the Citizens' 5-3 victory over Sunderland, where he scored a brace and assisted Ryan Cherki's goal in a scintillating encounter. The winger was named Most Valuable Player after the game.
In the 2026/27 season, Semenyo has recorded two goals and three assists, bringing his total goal contributions to five and making him a strong contender for the award.
Since joining from Bournemouth, Semenyo has scored 13 goals and provided six assists in 34 appearances.
