‘It doesn’t drive me but you never know about tomorrow’ - Anthony Baffoe on GFA presidency
Former Ghana international Anthony Baffoe has ruled out an immediate interest in becoming president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), despite growing calls for him to take up a leadership role in Ghana football.
Baffoe has emerged as a name some football fans believe could help improve the administration of the game amid growing criticism of the GFA's leadership under Kurt Okraku.
The debate over the association's future has intensified amid concerns about the direction of Ghana football, with sections of the public demanding changes at the top.

Baffoe, who has built a reputation through his experience in football administration and international football, was also named on the committee tasked with recommending a new Black Stars coach.
However, speaking to Michael Oti Adjei, the former Black Stars defender said the prospect of becoming GFA president was not something he was currently pursuing.
“See, I've said no on multiple occasions. It doesn't drive me,” Baffoe said.
He was, however, careful not to completely close the door on the possibility in the future, acknowledging that his position could change with time.
“But I don't know what is going to happen in six months or twelve months or twenty-four months. For now, I don't see myself there, but you never know what tomorrow brings,” he added.

Baffoe's comments come at a time when Ghana football administration remains under scrutiny, with questions being raised about the GFA's leadership and the need for reforms.
His name has featured in conversations about potential figures who could bring a different approach to the running of the sport, although he has not expressed an immediate desire to contest for the presidency.
