An eyewitness has recounted how a lifeless body has been discovered around the Osu Castle Roundabout in Accra.
In a video shared on X on October 15, 2026, he said the body had been at the location since the afternoon, prompting residents to contact local community leaders for assistance.
“We saw a lifeless body this evening and called the Assemblyman. I also called the unity committee members I know and others, but there was no answer, so we decided to call a blogger to come and film a report,” he said in the Ga dialect.
When the blogger asked whether the police had been contacted, the eyewitness said they had not yet done so, explaining that they wanted to inform their elders before reporting the incident to the police.

The eyewitness expressed concern that the body had been left at the scene, noting that children frequently played around the area while other residents visited the location to relax and enjoy fresh air.
The eyewitness said the body should not be left there under the circumstances, given the area's use by members of the public.
Meanwhile netizens have questioned why he failed to report the incident to the police instead of assembly members.
