‘LilWin must learn to control his mouth’ – Wayoosi warns after Van Vicker’s GH¢10m lawsuit
Kumawood actor Wayoosi has reacted to the GH¢10 million defamation lawsuit filed against LilWin by actor Van Vicker.
He has urged LilWin to be more careful with his choice of words.
Speaking on Royal TV, Wayoosi said this is the second time LilWin has faced a defamation suit involving a colleague, following an earlier legal dispute with actress Martha Ankomah.
He expressed concern about the repeated legal troubles, stating that the situation is fast becoming an issue.
“This is the second time, and it is becoming too much. The first was with Martha Ankomah, and he wanted the case withdrawn from court and settled at home, but she refused. Now, there is this Van Vicker case. In the Ashanti Region, some of the things LilWin said might be considered normal, but people in other regions may not understand it that way, so he should have known how to speak,” he said.
Wayoosi advised LilWin to be mindful of his words, warning that careless statements could lead to costly legal battles and demands for large amounts of money in damages.
“When you are speaking, you should be mindful of the words you use. Some of us, when we are talking, edit our words in our heads because we know we could say something and the next thing we know, the police have picked us up,” he stated.
Van Vicker 'slaps' LilWin with GH¢10m defamation suit
Meanwhile, in February 2024, actress Martha Ankomah filed a GH¢5 million defamation lawsuit against LilWin over comments he allegedly made about her in a viral video.
Subsequently, in October 2026, another actor, Van Vicker, took legal action against LilWin, filing a defamation lawsuit at the Accra High Court and demanding GH¢10 million in exemplary damages.
The suit followed a viral video in which LilWin allegedly questioned Van Vicker’s professionalism and stated that the actor could no longer take part in movie productions in Kumasi.
