Ghanaian musician Gona Boy has opened up about his relationship with global music star Black Sherif, describing him as a supportive “big brother” whose guidance gives him confidence as he develops his craft.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, Gona Boy revealed that he and Black Sherif have already worked together on his song 'Dawgs and Dawgs'.
“We have worked on my song Dawgs and Dawgs actually, he did the backing and everything for me,” he said.

The musician explained that although fans may be eager for another collaboration, he is intentionally taking his time to grow as an artiste before involving Black Sherif on a major release.
“The way I am with KK, I feel like the music takes time because I’m trying to learn, I’m trying to build my thing, and I am getting it right before I let him stamp on it,” Gona Boy stated.
According to him, having someone like Black Sherif in his corner removes the pressure of rushing collaborations, as he believes the award-winning musician will support him when the time is right.
“You see, when you have a big brother at home, you don’t worry about it too much; when you’re doing something, and you do it well, he will also support you,” he added.
