‘Women admire me but never make sexual advances’ – Majid Michel
Ghanaian actor Majid Michel has opened up about his experiences with women throughout his acting career, revealing that female fans have never made sexual advances towards him despite his popularity.
Speaking in an interview with George Quaye on Joy Prime on November 4, 2026, the actor said women have generally approached him with admiration and respect rather than romantic or sexual intentions.
Majid explained that he has always deeply appreciated women, starting with his mother and extending to his sisters and wife.
“I love girls above all things. I love women, and of course, the first woman you will always fall in love with is your mother. I have sisters, and I know they are very intelligent,” he said.
He noted that growing up with his sisters, who handled household chores such as cooking and washing, influenced his appreciation of women.
He said his wife shares similar qualities, noting that she handles household responsibilities, which makes him feel valued in their marriage.
“I do nothing; they cook, wash and everything. Then I met my wife, and she’s exactly like the women I grew up with. She does all the chores, and that makes me feel like I’m the king,” he shared.

According to the actor, women who admire him have never approached him in a sexually suggestive manner. Instead, they usually express their admiration and appreciation for his work.
He noted that some female fans are initially afraid to approach him unless he makes an effort to be friendly.
“The women who threw themselves at me? It is very funny. Some people have women throwing themselves at them, but that has never been my experience. Women do not approach me like that. They are mostly afraid of me unless I decide to be nice,” he stated.
Majid further explained that female fans typically approach him respectfully, expressing their admiration without attempting to establish anything beyond a fan-celebrity relationship.
“They come to me respectfully, not sexually. They say, ‘Oh, I admire you a lot, and I am a big fan,’ and that is it,” he noted.
Reflecting on his more than 26 years in the entertainment industry, the actor disclosed that he had never experienced a female fan visiting his hotel room while he was away filming.
“Throughout my over 26 years in this industry, I have never had any woman visit me in a hotel room while I was filming or anything like that. It has never gone beyond fans' admiration,” he added.
