Brogya Genfi urges Korean investors to partner Ghanaian businesses, create jobs
Presidential Advisor on National Resilience and Emergency Preparedness, Ernest Brogya Genfi, has urged South Korean investors to establish partnerships with Ghanaian businesses to promote technology transfer, create jobs and strengthen local industries.
He said Ghana was seeking investment partnerships that would go beyond the importation and sale of foreign products to support local production, develop technical skills and build the capacity of Ghanaian companies.

Speaking at the Ghana-Korea Business Forum 2026 on Thursday November 5, 2026, Brogya Genfi said South Korean businesses had an opportunity to combine their technological expertise with Ghanaian enterprise to support the country's industrial development.
He delivered the keynote address on behalf of the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, and encouraged investors to explore joint ventures in areas such as advanced manufacturing, digital technology, artificial intelligence, agribusiness and renewable energy.
“We invite you to see Ghana as a destination for production, not simply as a consumer market,” he stated.
According to him, partnerships between businesses from the two countries could help Ghana develop local supply chains, train young people and equip them with the technical skills needed to support industrial growth.
He also identified transport and logistics, infrastructure and smart mobility as sectors where South Korean companies could invest and contribute to Ghana's development.
Brogya Genfi said Ghana's access to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) market, which covers more than 1.4 billion people, gives investors the opportunity to manufacture in the country and expand their businesses across Africa.
He therefore called on Korean companies to take advantage of Ghana's strategic position and consider the country as a base for production, innovation and regional expansion.
“Our message today is therefore simple and unequivocal: Come to Ghana not only to do business with us, but to build the future with us,” he said.
He reaffirmed Ghana's commitment to creating mutually beneficial investment partnerships and urged businesses from both countries to turn discussions at the forum into actual investment projects.
