The founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Rev Francis Nana Agyei Antwi, popularly known as Rev Obofour, has recounted how he stormed the residence of former Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, at about 5:00am to clear his name over allegations levelled against him.
According to Rev Obofour, the incident occurred during a period when Kennedy Agyapong was leading a campaign against some Ghanaian pastors on Net 2 TV's The Seat Show, which he described as a crusade against fake pastors.
He explained that his name came up during the controversy surrounding the arrest of Ghanaian preacher and founder of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, over similar allegations.
Rev Obofour claimed that Kennedy Agyapong had received information suggesting that he was planning to kill twins allegedly born to him by a woman he said he did not even know.
Speaking in a self-recorded video shared on social media, Rev Obofour narrated how he personally visited Kennedy Agyapong's residence at dawn to confront the allegations.
"I went to Kennedy Agyapong's house around 5:00 a.m. and he said, this is your dossier, referring to all the things I had allegedly been doing. But what he was telling me, I knew nothing about. At the time, Bishop Obinim had been arrested and people were calling on Kennedy to ensure that I was also arrested," he said.

He further alleged that a woman had reported to Kennedy Agyapong that he had fathered twins with her and intended to kill the children.
"Someone I did not know from anywhere claimed that I had given birth to twins with her and that I was planning to take the children away to kill them. The woman had gone there to report the matter and Kennedy was waiting for the evening to appear on The Seat Show with Kwaku Annan so that the police could come and arrest me," he recounted.
Rev Obofour, however, said Kennedy Agyapong eventually listened to his side of the story and allowed him to leave.
He further claimed that he was deliberately portrayed negatively to the former legislator, which nearly landed him in serious trouble.
According to him, the situation later escalated after Kennedy Agyapong was allegedly told that he had described the former MP as a nobody.
He credited Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem II, Omanhene of the Tepa Traditional Area, with intervening on his behalf and helping him secure bail during the ensuing trouble.
"They later provoked him by telling him that I had said Kennedy was nobody. But thanks to Nana Tepamanhene, who helped me get bail," he added.
