Black Stars vs Somalia Clash: Fans to pay GH¢50

The Ghana Football Association has announced ticket prices for the Black Stars' 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying encounter against Somalia, with regular admission set at GH¢50 and VIP tickets costing GH¢100. In a move aimed at attracting more supporters to the stadium, students will enjoy free admission upon presentation of a valid student identification card. The announcement comes ahead of Ghana's first-leg meeting with Somalia on Thursday, November 12, at the Essipong Sports Stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm GMT. According to the GFA, tickets for all stands and sections with fixed seats will cost GH¢50, while supporters seeking access to the VIP section will pay GH¢100. The Black Stars will be hoping for strong home support as they seek their first points in Group C of the qualifiers after a disappointing start to their campaign. Ghana suffered defeats to Côte d'Ivoire and The Gambia in their opening two matches, leaving them under pressure to revive their qualification hopes. The encounter against Somalia forms part of a double-header, with the return fixture scheduled for Monday, November 16, at 3:00 pm GMT. The two matches present an important opportunity for Ghana to get their campaign back on track and improve their position in the race for a place at the 2027 AFCON.
