Adonteng Community Bank PLC records impressive financial growth at 28th AGM

Shareholders of Adonteng Community Bank PLC convened in large numbers at the New Tafo Presby Hall for the institution’s 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM), where management presented a strong report on the bank’s financial resilience and growth.
The meeting provided a platform to review the bank’s financial performance and discuss its strategic direction. It brought together the Board of Directors, management and staff, shareholders, as well as representatives from ARB Apex Bank and the Eastern Regional Chapter of the Association of Rural Banks.
Addressing the media on the sidelines of the event, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Kodwo Asafo Binfo, underscored the importance of the annual gathering.
“This meeting is vital. It’s our opportunity to transparently discuss our achievements, challenges, and future aspirations with the very people who have invested their confidence and capital in Adonteng Community Bank,” Kodwo Asafo Binfo stated.
Robust financial performance
The Chairman’s address highlighted a strong operational performance during the 2025 financial year, with notable growth recorded across several key financial indicators.
A breakdown of the financial report showed the following:
Profit after tax: Profit after tax increased by 2.65%, rising from GH¢5,090,234.00 in 2024 to GH¢5,225,122.13 in 2025.
Total assets: The bank’s total assets continued to grow. After recording a 53.12% increase from GH¢55,966,064 in 2023 to GH¢85,693,285 in 2024, the asset base grew by a further 19.43% in 2025 to GH¢102,344,158.78.
Total deposits: Total deposits also recorded significant growth, increasing by 20.99% from GH¢70,330,769 in 2024 to GH¢85,091,969 in 2025.
Shareholders express confidence
The positive financial results were met with enthusiasm from shareholders, who commended management and staff for their diligence, strategic execution and commitment to the bank’s continued growth.
Demonstrating confidence in the bank’s future prospects, several shareholders pledged additional investments by purchasing more shares.
